Corn Oregon! This year's Harvest of Knowledge is perfect for school children learning about our home state, Oregon. There will be many opportunities for fun and learning.

As you journey through the Corn Maze (a map of Oregon’s roads, highways and points of unique geographic interest) you will see a Native American tipi. Climb over Mt. Hood (made of straw bales) and go down a slide representing the rapids of the Columbia River. There will be many signs along the trails to identify the roads, highways, cities, towns, and unique geographic locations of our beautiful state.

Children of all ages will enjoy this fun-filled experience. This is an exceptional social studies opportunity for elementary students.

Pumpkin Patch: Each student will pick out a pumpkin and one pumpkin will be given to each class.

Petting Zoo: See a variety of farm animals such as a calf, goats, chickens, pigs, sheep and rabbits. There will be feed available in quarter-operated machines. And of course there will be hand washing facilities available.

Orchard Tour: The students will participate in a tour of the orchard where the growing process is explained to the children, season by season in way suitable to their grade level. They will be able to pick out an apple to eat or take home.
