Harvest starts in mid-July on our farm and lasts through early September. Stop by the shortcake stand and try a peach shortcake or a fresh peach milkshake…you’ll think youve died and gone to heaven.
To ripen a peach, just leave at room temperature until there is a golden yellow color around the stem. Ignore and red around the stem as red has no bearing on ripeness. Please don’t squeeze the peaches – they must be handled in a very delicate manner.
